Hello, my friend — I’m Jen, aka Mz. Cookie.
I’m grateful you’re here.
Let’s start with the obvious:
Who am I, and why should you trust me with your time?
I’m a retired business owner who built a business the old-fashioned way — through connection, trust, and real relationships. No chasing trends. No relying on algorithms. No paid digital ads.
Why?
Because I found modern marketing exhausting. Social media algorithms constantly throttled my reach unless I paid to play — and the truth? Most people ignored those ads anyway.
But people don’t ignore connection.
And trust isn’t built in a scroll — it’s built in the moments that matter.
So I created a system rooted in loyalty and relationships — and it worked. My business didn’t just survive economic shifts like COVID… it grew.
Now I teach others how to do the same:
Grow without gimmicks. Build without burnout. Succeed without selling your soul.
But there’s another side of me, too — the personal one.
Like many, I wrestle with emotions that sneak up uninvited.
Books helped. Some.
Rah-rah motivation? Not so much.
What I really needed was to feel seen.
Not fixed. Not dismissed. Just… understood.
I wanted something that told me it was okay to not be okay.
That I wasn’t broken. That I wasn’t “too much.”
And that’s where Mary the TaterTot was born —
a soft-hearted spud with a simple mission:
to sit with you when the world feels too loud,
and gently remind you:
You matter. You always did.
That message became the heart of my book:
“You’re Not Too Much; You Matter.”
It’s not just a book — it’s a mission.
Every sale supports nonprofits working to prevent veteran suicide.
Because I lost someone. His name was Kyle. And I’m not okay with losing more.
So yeah, there’s business.
There’s purpose.
There’s a potato with feelings.
But above all — there’s heart.
Mary’s here for you.
I’m here for you.
And if no one’s told you yet today:
You matter to me. 💛
